Hardie Fencing
 Replace damaged panels
 Free insurance quotes
Also called “super six” fencing, hardie fences were introduced decades ago as a safe alternative to asbestos fences. Hardie fences are made of cement and paper, and are common in older neighbourhoods or houses—just look for matt grey fences with a wavy design. Unlike more modern fencing, which is secured by posts inserted at intervals into the ground, whole panels of hardie fences are inserted into the ground, and can break off at ground level.
If a small section of your hardie fence is damaged, FenceWest can certainly replace the panel for you. If entire fences are damaged, we often recommend an upgrade to a tubular steel, COLORBOND® steel, or PVC “picket” fence. You’d be surprised how similar the cost can be, because hardie fences take longer to install and clean up after (yes, we always tidy up afterwards). Just ask us for some friendly advice to help you make the right choice for you.
